RAASCEMAN
Resilient and Adaptive Supply Chains for Capability-based Manufacturing as a Service Networks
Vision
The manufacturing sector faces challenges such as increasing international competition, political tensions, material shortages or unpredictable natural events. The RAASCEMAN project aims to mitigate and prevent supply chain disruptions and improve the ability of manufacturers and suppliers to adapt flexibly to changes. In the context of Manufacturing as a Service (MaaS), RAASCEMAN contributes to the creation of a more resilient and adaptable manufacturing ecosystem through networks of interconnected factories, leveraging digital twins and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Uniqueness
RAASCEMAN develops innovative AI-powered tools that use real-time data from the supply chain to analyse potential disruptions and quantify their impact.
RAASCEMAN will deliver among other things
- Tool for analysing and quantifying the probability of occurrence and impact for different types of unforeseen events in the production flow/processes
- Recommendation engine for dynamic supply chain generation based on semantic matching and multi-criteria optimization
- Audit Tool to compute similarities between offers for new product requests and provided services of a service provider
- A digital platform supporting information exchange within the factory as well as supporting information sharing across the supply chain
